Learning through Law School and Real Estate
During these experiences, I observed a holistic and philosophical tension between the Constitution’s goal of creating a more perfect union and the adversarial nature of the law. This led me to question how we can enhance systemic unity when the very systems we rely on often reinforce division. I believe true reform has the power to transform division into unity.
This realization prompted me to pivot from pursuing a J.D. to embark on a transformative journey, starting with the sale of my townhouse in Guilford, CT in August 2021. Through that process, I examined the real estate system’s incentives to maximize sale prices, along with the unnecessary costs, fees, and service layers that inflate prices and contribute to systemic inefficiencies.
Those practices often adversely contribute to inflation and artificially increase costs.
These insights energize my desire to use education and technology to enhance unity and generate meaningful change.
