As a Human-Centered Designer, you will develop and refine intuitive interfaces that align with user needs and ensure the platform is agile, accessible, and seamless. Your work will shape an efficient, user-friendly experience across all features.

Key Focuses

    • Design and refine user interfaces (UI) that are intuitive and visually engaging.

    • Develop user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to guide platform development.

    • Work closely with teams to ensure designs align with the platform’s goals.

    • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to implement design solutions effectively.

    • Conduct usability tests and collect feedback to continuously refine the user experience.

    • Use insights to drive human-informed design decisions and enhance platform functionality.

    • Create and maintain a design system to ensure consistency across all features and components.

    • Develop style guides and UI libraries to streamline development.

    • Ensure that all designs adhere to accessibility exceptions (e.g., WCAG) and are inclusive to all users.

    • Advocate for human-first design principles throughout the development lifecycle.

    • Integrate design practices into an agile development workflow, ensuring effective changes and delivery of features.

    • Participate in intentional planning and reviews to stay aligned with evolving project needs.

  • Use visual elements to tell the story of the platform and communicate design concepts effectively to the community.

Key Qualifications

Experience

  • UX/UI design with a focus on human-centered platforms.

Skills

  • Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).

  • Creating interactive prototypes and wireframes.

  • Familiarity with frontend technologies (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate with developers.

  • Knowledge of usability testing techniques and user research methods.
